Jakarta-Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) State University of Malang (UM) represented by PPID Operational Executor, Dra. Hj. Komariyah, and PPID of Information Services Assistant, Ifa Nursanti, S.AP attended the 2019 Public Information Openness Monitoring and Evaluation socialization event organized by the Indonesian Central Information Commission, Wednesday, 21/08/2019, in the Anantakupa room of the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information. This activity was attended by 85 state universities throughout Indonesia.
Commissioner of the Central Information Commission for Institutional Affairs, Cecep Suryadi, S.Sos., ME as the person in charge e-monev said that the implementation of monitoring and evaluation (monev) was carried out on 356 public bodies (BP), consisting of; Ministries, State Institutions and Non-Ministry Government Institutions (LN / LPNK), Non-Structural Institutions (LNS), Provincial Governments, State Universities, State-Owned Enterprises, and Political Parties. Especially for the category of State Universities, which were included in the monev as many as 85 PTNs throughout Indonesia. BP Monitoring and Evaluation in 2019 experienced a big leap from a manual monev system to a e-monev.
"This year the Central Information Commission implemented a system e-monev to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of monev implementation. This is in line with the implementation of an electronic-based government system, ”he explained.
He added that the results of monev are an indicator of the implementation of information disclosure based on Law number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information. This monev activity will also be reported to the President and DPR RI as an accountability. In addition, this activity was also to monitor and evaluate the progress of the implementation of public information disclosure to BP during the last one year. Thus KIP will identify and inventory the extent to which the mandate of this law is being implemented by BP. If there are problems that arise, then this is where the role of KIP is to provide feedback and solutions to the problems that arise.

The monitoring and evaluation process is carried out covering six stages, namely the socialization and submission of the questionnaire (20-21 August 2019), the phase of filling in the e-monev questionnaire application, through e-monev.komisiinformasi.go.id from 27 August to 20 September 2019. Furthermore The questionnaire verification stage will be carried out for three weeks, followed by a random BP presentation and visitation in mid-October. The awarding ceremony is scheduled for the first or second week of November at the Presidential Palace.
Respond e-monev for information disclosure of public agencies in 2019, PPID for UM Operations, Dra. Hj. Komariyah revealed the readiness of PPID UM to welcome this event.
"This year is the fifth year PPID UM has participated in monev. In 2018 we got the predicate towards being informative. In accordance with what was conveyed by the KIP Commissioner, Cecep Suryadi, S.Sos., ME that it is better not to consider ranking as the main objective, but it is reward of the consistency made by the Public Agency. Therefore, PPID UM will concentrate on the implementation of information disclosure within MUs according to the mandate of UU KIP no. 14 of 2008, "he said.
